I rate this book a 3 out of 5. I enjoyed the pictures. Though, the way the book is formatted is hard to follow. This book does not seem to be an ideal book to be pushed toward children. The book seems more of something that the mother of a child would enjoy but not the actual child. The book has a lot of jumping between scenes that are challenging to keep up with. The book is also fairly confusing. I do not think that a child would enjoy the book due to that. Further, the addition of hell in the book seemed to be unneeded and unnecessary for little kids to be reading about. I know that most parents would not enjoy that part. I also did not enjoy where the author had the parents tell the children to tell everyone that Jesus died for them, considering that not everyone believes in Jesus. We should not be teaching kids to push religion on anyone who did not precisely ask about it. So, adding that Jesus directly wants them to tell everyone about him doesn't sit right. I feel that the message to the parents seemed threatening and guilt-tripping. Saying that "God's patience will eventually run out" and "God is patiently waiting, that many might repent, confess, and accept Jesus as their savior" all seemed like the author was saying that everyone else who believes anything else is completely wrong and is sinning for that. Which, again, is not good to teach kids to judge others as that, ironically, as this author would put it, is a sin. The whole book seems a bit extreme and contradictory. This type of book is never really seen in any children's books. There tends to be reasonings why authors don't write in certain ways, which is why I am not too sure this one will be very successful.
