Snatched Up to Heaven for Kids is a beautiful story that is perfect for a Christian family to read together and discuss their beliefs or, it would be a great addition to a Sunday School library to be read during story time.

Very impressively is the quality of the writing. Classroom teachers in a Christian school could also use this book to teach many aspects of writing conventions such as paragraph formation, conversation conventions, and how to cite from another text properly.
Furthermore, the illustrations have captured a real essence of heaven with the light hues and realism they portrait. A family could use the pictures as conversation starters too to discuss what they perceive as heaven and what many figures from the Bible look like. One of the highlights of the book is that each figure is smiling. This creates a safe and pleasant place that would help others feel safe discussing dying, heaven, or unknown places. I do wish more cultural diversity was represented in the figures as heaven is for everyone and that means anyone from around the world in all of God’s glorious countries.

The Paul's have written a book that would be remembered and discussed for many years in families and aid in healing after death, fear of someone dying, or how not to be afraid of the unknown. The discussion of hell and those who have been sent there while may be scary for some, is portrayed in a way that is important to discuss and see. This would be something to make note of before reading the book to some children so that they do not become scared or confused.

The book is rated 4 out of 5 only because it is a limited genre as a Christian book. However, it would be a wonderful gift for a family or given to families to newly join a church.
