Mr. and Mrs. Miller decided to travel to Africa. This was after the Episcopal Church's decision to transfer Mr. Miller to Kenya on a mission. Mr. and Mrs. Miller had two children, Marry Grace and Donny. They are forced to take their kids to California since they can't travel to Africa with them. In California, the kids stay with their grandparents, Grandma Cathy and Papa Steve. Mary Grace does not like the idea of staying with grandparents, but Donny looks forward to it. Mary Grace is bullied at school. She did not know the bully. The school seeks to find the offenders. To find out how Mary Grace dealt with the situation, get a copy.

Donny and Mary Grace's California Adventures by Catherine A. Pepe is a good book. The author used a language that is easy to read and understand. The flow of the plot is smooth and engaging. This makes the reader want to keep reading. The author gives a clear and vivid description of the characters. The cover page is beautiful and well designed. The author must have spent a lot of time designing it.

I liked everything about the book. Mary Grace's brother has Down syndrome. Mary Grace does not see her brother as a burden. She gives him all the love that he needs. The story of Mary Grace being bullied in school is also a moral lesson. This is a lesson to children not to look down upon those with difficulties but instead show them love.

I give this book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. The book was professionally written and edited. I did not find any errors while reading the book. I recommend this book to children ten years of age or older, parents, grandparents, and even teachers. Donny and Mary Grace's California Adventures gives good lessons to both young and old people. It contains moral lessons.
