"Snatched Up To Heaven for Kids" is a book about Jesus, God, and Christianity, with Heaven and Hell mixed in. It is a short story about what it would be like to be a Christian and what you might receive when you follow the path of the Lord. As a children's book, it is short and filled with cute and colorful illustrations. If you are already Christian and want the same religion for your children, it might be a book to pick up.

The positive aspects of this book are the illustrations. They are simple yet beautiful and would definitely catch your children's eyes as they read this book. I would have loved to see more diversity in the illustrations, even though they did have one where there were other races beside Caucasians. But overall, I can see that real effort has been put into them. The colors were impressive, and the overall mood of the pictures was cheerful and fun. Another positive aspect might be the lovely story. The children are cute and idealistic, and their parents share their feelings. They also talk with them, showcasing a good parent-child relationship, even in something as short as this 20-page book.

In my opinion, the negative aspect of this book was how Christian it is. Throughout the story, the girls are constantly reminded that Heaven is a good place and even shown the opposite of good to warn them about the danger of sinning. This is fine as a precautionary tale for children, but what bothers me most about this is the final page, which was incredibly ill-minded. The page was a warning for parents, hence not part of the children's story, about going against Christianity and how you, along with your children, could all be damned to Purgatory. I believe in Christianity and the Lord, but to damn others to eternal suffering along with their children in a kids' book for going against our savior might be a bit too extreme.

Overall, I think this book is a solid 3 out of 5 stars. If you want your children to be good Christians and follow the Lord's ways, have them read it. Otherwise, you might want to skip this lecture about Heaven and Hell.
