It was a good book in terms of being able to read and for kids to understand the gravity of death and how to process it. It was a little long; the paragraphs were a bit wordy for a child to read, although the concept and the weighting style were excellent. I would give it a 4 out of 5 as it was really lovely to read, it flowed pretty well, and the overall tone of the book was good. It could have been a .little bit shorter, but that is my only issue with it. If I had a child going through hard times, this book would definitely be the one that I would probably show to them.
