The book Snatched Up to Heaven for Kids by Jemima Paul and Arvind Paul is an early introduction to Christianity. The main character is a little girl named Emma who dreams of visiting Heaven with her sister Bella and going on adventures that she shares with her family.

In this story, Emma is an eight year old and her younger sister Bella is six years old. Emma's parents believe in God and want to teach their children about him and what Christianity means. To do this, Emma's parents read to them every night from the Bible and pray with them. They want their children to love God and to know that God loves them. On a very special night, Emma has a dream that she visits Heaven with her younger sister Bella. They had such a wonderful time in Emma's dream that when Emma wakes up, she tells her sister and parents all about the adventures they had and what Heaven looked like. Emma loved her dream so much that she prays to God to let her experience many more dreams of Heaven.

I found the illustrations in this book to be pleasing to the eye. They helped depict what the authors where trying to convey in a clean and simple way. Furthermore, I enjoyed that the authors cited the verses they used in the Bible. For example, on page 7, they listed their references on the bottom left corner. They are clearly visible, so if anyone wanted to find that exact verse, they would know where to go.

I only have one negative for this book. I personally did not care for the depiction of Hell. I understand it is important to bring awareness; However, I feel that could be scary to children if not explained properly. To give a brief example, on page 24 line 13 "We saw fire everywhere, but the fire didn't give any light. It was still dark."

Overall, I feel that parents and children would enjoy reading this story together or alone. I found no real errors in this book. I rate Snatched Up to Heaven for Kids by Jemima Paul and Arvind Paul a 4 out of 5 stars. The authors did a lovely job writing this children's book.
