Inca had a cat detective agency. Mom was spending the holidays on the sunny island of Sri Lanka, and the animals were excited to be there. During their stay, they found out that a valuable sword had gone missing from the museum. While this was just random news for residents of Sri Lanka, Inca is determined to prove her detective skills once again on this beautiful island.

There are a couple of things I like about this book. Firstly, I enjoyed the use of suspense in Serendipity Mystery: Diary of a Snoopy Cat. It is interesting that a book for children can hold their attention and teach them to lengthen their attention span by getting to the end of the story to find out what eventually happened. R.F. Kristi has done wonderfully great with this book, and I cannot wait to read other books in this series. In addition, the adventurous tone of this book makes it an exciting book for children.

I liked that the themes of confidence, friendship, and resilience were explored in this book. Children will not only have fun reading this book, but they could learn important attributes for life. Inca is confident in her abilities, and it shows. She also talks about the achievement of her agency with fulfillment. I liked the friendship that was shared among the animals in this book. Also, Inca believed in herself. She pushed and did not give up.

The only thing that seemed like a negative aspect to me was the number of characters I read about; it got confusing at some point. However, the family tree at the beginning of this book was helpful. I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. It was perfectly edited, as I did not encounter any errors. This was an entertaining and educating read.

I recommend this book to children who love to solve mysteries. Lovers of animals should enjoy reading this book.
