The children's book Snatched Up to Heaven made by Jemima Paul and Arvind Paul is about a child with a dream about the Afterlife. This book teaches children about what happens in heaven and hell and which of your actions will get you to either if them. The children are taught about the importance of following God and the consequences of not doing so.The dreams of the older sister are used as a way to teach about the bible and what is good and bad.

The positive aspects of this book 'Snatched Up to Heaven' uses a form in which children can understand. It completely reaches the goal of wanting to teach a younger audience about Christianity. The pictures are used as a way that children can picture what the book is actually saying. The book is good for a parent and child reading session which can help children read more fluently. The book also has a parents section which explains the purpose of the book.

A negative aspect about this book is that it is not detailed enough as it has a small amount of detail.Another negative aspect is that it has no attempted humour which may lead to children finding the book boring.

I would give this book a 3 out of 4 because it is perfect for children to read as it is simple and has pictures which link with the text. The pictures are used as another way to talk with the younger audience and helps them with their imagination.

I would recommend this book to a young religious audience as religion is what the book is focused on and is written well enough so younger people can understand it.This can give a child an earlier insight to what Christianity is like and how they can better themselves now and to prepare themselves for the Afterlife.
