As a child, learning to read is regarded as one of the most fundamental aspects of success and advancement. As a result, exposing our children to this quality literature will be an essential part of their development. Initially, the French Patisserie Competition hosted in South Korea is the focus of this book. To entice the judges, each contender will provide a delicious cuisine. In this competition, who will win, and what problems will each participant deal with?
 
Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula is authored by R.F. Kristi. Common animals have been portrayed as the protagonists in this book. Throughout the story, humorous and adventurous occurrences take place in Korea. Even though I was no longer a child, I was nevertheless enthralled by these kinds of stories. Furthermore, Enzo was a traitor and would do everything to hurt the other participants in the story. This shows that the author has done an excellent job of making the characters realistic and exciting, as I often became angry at him.
 
In this book, I couldn't think of anything negative to say. This takes me back to my childhood when I loved to read fables and would try to memorize the names of every character I met. Overall, this book was a lot of fun to read, and it ended with a lesson for the younger audience. Only the sheer number of characters introduced in this book bothers me. Some or most children may struggle to recall them all, which could cause confusion. Despite this, this is still a fantastic children’s book that should be read. 
 
Given all of the positive aspects I've noticed in this book thus far, I'm rating it 4 out of 4 stars, and I can't think of any reasons to dock a star.
 
As a whole, I had a good time reading this and thought the plot was interesting. This book is a must-read for children ranging in age from preschool to primary school.
