Calix Leigh-Reign is the author of this outstanding young adult fantasy book. The Scion Saga is a Russian science fiction and fantasy series written and published by Calix. She reads a lot and holds a paralegal certification. This gripping young adult novel centers on the lives of sixteen-year-olds Adam and Carly, who discover that their magical abilities have the worst possible consequences when they set out on a family vacation. Adam has developed a bitterness toward a culture that simultaneously demands behavior that goes against those teachings and shapes human emotions into ones that are devoid of empathy for others, judge without compassion, worship money, and empty their minds of reason.

Adam, like the majority of the townspeople, whom he despisesly calls animals, was born and reared in Piure. Adam and her girlfriend's illuminated neck rings clearly show that they are descended from extinct Russian bloodlines. They are always in danger of being destroyed by the elite but vicious gang of scientists known as the Iksha. Numerous family-related situations in the series strengthen ties between the bloodlines as they band together to protect their existence. This book is becoming more and more interesting as you turn the pages. After learning their secret, I was enthralled, even though at first I felt uncomfortable knowing how Adam felt about her mother. Read this fantastic book to find out what his mother's secret is.

Nonetheless, he's a remarkable character—a troubled young man who, by the time he's corresponded with Carly, transforms into a true romantic protagonist. Other relatives of theirs possess extraordinary abilities. As Adam increasingly develops his abilities, he learns truths about his parents and other people. Within the young adult genre, Carly is a formidable female lead. Even though their relationship makes the young pair far more risky, Carly does not rely on Adam to keep her alive. They strike a fantastic balance between their connection and conflict. With everything contemplated, this is a thrilling supernatural tale.

With its captivating turns and twists, the tale will grip the reader's attention from the beginning to the thrilling conclusion. I like the author's writing style, and the book cover and interior design are well done. Readers will be left wondering what will happen next after reading this novel. I had a great time reading this book. I can't identify any grammar errors in this book because it has been edited so effectively. For the aforementioned reason, I'll rate it five out of five stars. I suggest this book to readers who like fantasy and suspenseful fiction. Both explicit themes and foul language can be found in this work. According to me, nothing needs to be changed in this book because it is absolutely excellent.
