To begin with, the story of Calix Leigh-Reign's "Opaque" conforms to the norms: a disaffected teen with emerging abilities, a mythical secret world, and the impact of forbidden romance. Moreover, although there are some paranormal elements, the hierarchical structure is not at all different from that in a classic theft movie. The unpredictable reflection allows us to see the plot and the central characters from a parallel and versatile angle.

See him as the unwilling hero, alienated by the unknown yet just a moment away from self-discovery. Learning early on who pins the crime on him is the first step towards recognizing the truth—a truth that the secretive order shields with all its nuclear might. Carly has an uncommon magnetism from the very first time Adam meets her. His charm could let him into the world of glittering objects and be the key to this world. She is an inside person who is aware of the heist drama, but she is also bewildered because of the juxtaposition between the promise of a different opportunity and her loyalties to go along with the heist.

The guild itself acquires the strength to take down the walls. Forgery, hypocrisy, artifice, and contrived legitimacy are reflections of the same deceitful lavishness that is associated with the stolen assets in such movies. Adam's quest comprises thought-out finalization, mastery over his maturing abilities, and struggle with adversaries that are present both in the guild's courtyard and outside of it. This simile paves the way for a deeper insight into Adams's inner struggle. It is not only the newly acquired powers that he is groping into the depths of but also the moral conflict of the game of high stakes.

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. There are no disadvantages to the book, and I also wouldn’t notice any mistakes because the book was professionally edited. There is almost nothing to reprimand. Finally, and interestingly, the contrast between Carly’s mixed reasons for doing this sheds more light. Or is she just a strand leading Adam on for the final score? Yet maybe, like many partners in crime, she is just a schemer without any emotional attachment. This contrasting lens magnifies her possibilities of betrayal by increasing suspense.

Power for fantasies with that and other elements of the teen genre, which creates a unique blending. Write a scholarship letter. Nevertheless, the novel is so much more than just a heist in a not-typical setting. The main characters go through many strategic maneuvers in addition to their hidden motives and high-stakes gambles, which contribute to the plot and main characters' development.
