My first thought on this book was that I did not like the male lead's attitude towards others. His viewpoint initially had me questioning the sanity of the male lead and the way the story would go. As I continued to read and meet our female lead, everything started to get into place. What is interesting about the female lead is that she does not back down from a challenge and is genuinely 100 percent herself. When both leads get to know each other, you can see they have a genuine connection, and by having both sides narrate, you can see how they feel about each other and what is happening around them. I enjoy the dual Point of view and seeing the story progress through different eyes and different events. As we progress and meet new characters, you can see the story unfold beautifully and see how things are unexpected. The plot twists had me gasping with each Revelation, and I wanted to know more; get sucked in more into the story.
I really enjoy it when an author gives personality to the main leads and the people around them. I can't wait to read the next installments and learn more about the friendships and how each individual will act and react toward upcoming events. I loved how the author included visuals for readers to indulge in this story; this made it seem much more real. The pages are beautifully designed, and you can see the author's great care and dedication to making this world possible. My rating on this book is a 4/5 due to the main male lead in the beginning, but overall, I absolutely recommend this book and definitely recommend finishing this series. Editing: I give it a perfect score. The author is very eloquent and expressive; she describes scenes so beautifully that you feel you are there.
