The New York City, high school senior El Frost, meets Nicholas Scalon, after he rescues the socially awkward girl at her first high school party. She describes Nicholas as an angel descended from the sky because of his divine features. El discovers Nicholas is new to her school, but is she the only person who can see Nicholas? Yes, during the day at least.
El’s eyes have been opened to this new supernatural world of Spectres and Archfiends. Nicholas, a Spectre, along with his family of Spectres moved into El’s neighborhood to protect the area of soul-sucking, evil Archfiends. El learns Spectres are born from a death when the person is ready to die by spirit, but not by body. Archfiends, however, are made up of hundreds of spirits and hunt humans for their unique souls. El’s daytime visibility of the supernatural make her soul a prime target for two Archfiends. El and Nicholas continue trying to live a normal teenage life of school, Prom, and dating. But El’s neighborhood is repeatedly attacked by the Archfiends.
El and Nicholas fall hard for each other, making it difficult for Nicholas who feels like he is constantly putting El in danger. After El’s mysterious accident, her family decides to move away from the city, across the country actually. During the cross-country road trip, El reminisces her time spent with Nicholas and the events that led to her family leaving the city. El wonders if she will ever see Nicholas again and is heartbroken he didn’t keep his promise to her.
This young adult, romance novel is engaging, memorable, and heart-wrenching at times. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys young adult, romance novels with a paranormal flare. The more unforgettable parts of the book are the scenes that bring El and Nicholas closer together. The heart fluttering words they share with each other are a true testament to Liam Levi’s ability to write. I look forward to reading the sequel and discovering what else befalls Nicholas and El.
Thousand Sinful Kisses is written in a way that draws the reader in using a series of flashbacks. I found the book to be addicting, however, I frequently fell out of the fictive dream while reading because of grammatical issues, making the sentences not flow well. Due to the book’s poor editing I chose to rate it 3 out of 4 stars.

I'm grateful and beyond flattered reading your fabulous review of my debut novel. It couldn't have been more honest and wonderful than that. I assure you the sequel is turning out to be spellbinding - considering the raw material I received by the time I finished part 1. I can agree the errors were kinda not pleasing while reading the "fluttering words" - and I can assure they've been professionally rectified for good. I hope you enjoy the entire trilogy in the same way you did. Yes, El and Nicholas have yet to face and fight a lot midst their blinding love for one another. Thanks once again!
