I have seriously seen myself reflected in this book by having friends and family with down syndrome, I have put myself in the shoes of the protagonist, Matthew is a character love, for this reason, I can firmly think that these types of stories are the ones that It is worth telling. I must point out some things about the book, first of all I think that regarding the characters that appear in the book such as his mother Lindsey, his coach Joe Donovan, Harry and Brian are moving characters, since they sympathize with Matthew as they go. discovering the physical and internal strength that he has, enhancing his sports and also emotional skills, the latter becoming a person with many nuances and internal strength, who can now fend for himself, without the protection that his father gave him. On the other hand, I can point out that the book is a moral and ethical debate about what it allows us to do to people with a different health condition or with different abilities than the common ones, many times people do not take these people into account and leaves relegated to the background in situations that do not require physical and mental effort, and many times the people they protect are the ones who are wrong, because people like Matthew are capable of much more than we think. Thirdly, I want to point out the aspect of American football in the book that is sometimes technical, however, despite the fact that I am a person with little sports training regarding this sport, I can indicate that the story would work with other sports such as soccer. or baseball, since I mention the mobile of the story focuses on the drama of the characters and the spirit of overcoming. Finally, I would like to point out that I even imagine this book as a possible movie, since, as he mentioned, it is a very interesting drama with overtones of self-improvement and that is reflected in the actions that are carried out throughout the book, leaving debates and reflections internal to the reader.
