My extensive review is based on the audio version of the award-winning book. B.J Harrison performed an excellent job with the narration. He was able to convey the complex characters into life. He expertly embodied all the unique characters, with diverse voices, peculiar intonations, and accents. He unbelievably performs various vocal patterns & sounds, which made their voices distinct. His narration was so on point that he efficiently transports me to various times & places altogether.
Another enjoyable aspect of the book is the plot. The incredible story no doubt has a fascinating storyline. The remarkable fact that a parallel world exists precisely is so beguiling. Awed,I love how the world was portrayed; translucent and luminous. The parallel world really enthralled me.
What I desired more in the book was their arduous journey to Harmonia was a little bit longer and harder. I genuinely felt that it was a little bit easy to get there. I was earnestly hoping and anxiously expecting a lot more of the possible danger and near-death experiences. Don’t get me wrong, there’s all that in the heroic journey. I was just expecting a decent lot more of it. But mind me. This is just my opinion, a minor one to be honest.
I love the book and found no negative aspects to it. The narration was on point, and I did not hear any mistakes which shows that the book was excellently edited. So,I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. The writing was captivating. The characters are also unique and realistic.
Ultimately, I enthusiastically recommend this excellent book to fantasy adventure lovers.
