Cecilia Harrow isn't a normal human. She is a new student at Cornelia High School, with a dark secret. Cecilia is the two-hundred-year-old Princess of Hell, and daughter of the infamously evil Lucifer Morning Star, better known as the Devil. Cecilia being part human became aware of her past evil actions and wanted to change her ways. She thinks that Cornelia High School is the best place to hide from her past and father, partly because her magic pocket watch teleported her right outside the school. Cecilia befriends a sad, quiet boy named Sebastien and twins Nathaniel and Scarlet Lafayette. Cecilia hides her past from the school until she meets Alexander Draven. Will Cecilia’s father find her? Who will emerge victorious, good or evil? Will Alexander tell people Cecilia's secret? Can the Princess of Hell fall in love? Read Vagabond by Mary A.J to find out.

This young adult book is a fast-paced enjoyable read. I loved the way the characters swayed between good and evil. The book contained great character development from not just the main character Cecilia but others as well. I loved that throughout the book the author put what Cecilia was thinking in italics. This gave me a deeper understanding of how Cecilia was feeling, which allowed me to connect with her as a character. Mary A.J used snippets of the Bible throughout the story and explained all the different types of demons and angels throughout the book, because of this I was never confused. The book ended on a cliffhanger, leaving me hoping for a sequel.

I think this book was written well, but I think some of the emotions in the book changed very quickly. I think that Cecilia falling in love happened too quickly. I understand that other people would fall in love with her, but I thought that it would take longer for her to love.

This book had very few errors. This leads me to think that the book was professionally edited before it was reviewed.

This book deserved 4 out of 4 stars. I recommend this book to any teen who likes the supernatural and reading about the struggles of high school friends and relationships. This book is easy to recommend because of the lack of sex scenes and mild profanity, which also opens it up to other readers, not just the young adult audience it was written for.
