At first I was not sure about this book. Adam being so obsessed with his mom, and calling everyone animals. Once he started learning about his history and abilities it was really good! I enjoyed all the imagination the writer put into the story. I also really liked Adam and Carly's relationship.
I was hoping Adam would forgive his mom at some point. I would have liked more information at the beginning about Mark and Joann's true relationship about him telling her she is crazy all the time and making her take medication. Being a parent myself it was disturbing how much hate Adam had for Mark because of his mom obsession, and how he tried to kill him. That's a lot of hate and jealousy in a child. We learn later why the obsession it's due to what's running through her veins.
I should have known Vikki would be one of the bad ones her attitude should have been a cluemus. Adam being able to cloak his abilities/thoughts, and that he is a descendant brought to mind Twilight as the character Bella could manipulate her mind also and had force field. Then it just seems so much happens Adam and his real parents, Dylan his twin brother! Carly's losses of her family, and then her fight with the soldiers and everyone thinking she died. Phew crazy few chapters! Thank you for sharing your imagination with us.
