The Book Jihadi Hijacking by Eric Auxier is a fun and exciting book. It kept me at the edge of my seat. The story is about a 14-year old freshman of Plymouth High School named Justin Reed. Justin is orphaned when his father was murdered by the evil spy Pharaoh. He is later adopted by a man named Bob Cheney. Bob is a CIA Case Officer and Justin has also been trained as a spy. When the two travel to Tel Aviv, Israel, their airbus gets hijacked. Justin can't just sit and watch innocent people get hurt so he uses his CIA training to try to stop them. Things don't go exactly as they would like, so now it is up to Bob and Justin to think quick and try to bring everyone to safety.

This book is a very fun book. I would give this book a 4 out of 4 stars. Every time I picked up the book to read it, I couldn't put it down. I like the excellent detail of the cabin of an airplane in the beginning, which gave a good picture of how the cabin really looks to a person who has never seen one in person. Also, in the beginning it shows a map of the Middle East to inform the readers of where the story takes place. I especially liked that although the story is fictional, the author did a good job at sharing the cultural beliefs and life of the Middle East. The author shares that has wants people to understand why things like Osama Bin Laden and 9/11 happened.

What I liked most in this book was the action that was described very well during the Hijacking of the plane. It was described so well and in great detail that you can really imagine everything going on as if you were there yourself. I liked the way the scenes were described when they were in the cabin of the airplane. Along with the pictures in the beginning of the book, a person who has never seen it in person can have a very good understanding of what was where and what was happening there. Overall, the book was written very well that the reader can completely feel that they are party of the story. With that said, I don't think there was anything that I disliked most from the book.

I would recommend this book to practically anyone, especially those who like adventure and spy stories. Even though this book is written mostly for young adults, I feel like older and younger people would also enjoy this book. Although, there was minor profane language but not much of it. One example is the word "damn" on page 128.

In summary, Eric Auxier's novel Jihadi Hijacking is an excellently written spy/fly thriller, that will keep any reader at the edge of their seat. With great detail, one can feel that he is watching a movie, or better yet, in the story itself. This story is not merely a fictional story but it focuses on real problems of the Middle Eastern cultures and describes them well for the reader to get a good idea about what is the real problem and not just to rely on prejudice views that we see on news and other areas. The book was well edited with only a few typos/errors.

When I saw the name Jihadi, I thought the book is about the Islamic militia and it's purpose. I'm surprised to see CIA is involved. The book sounds like a promising. I will read the book. Thanks for your well-written review.
