I truly enjoyed the originality of The Crystilleries of Echoland by Dew Pellucid. This fast paced, fantasy adventure will keep you on the edge of your seat. I could not find anything that disliked about this book. This book is classified as young adult but I feel a more advanced younger reader who loves magic and adventure would be able to read this book as well.

Two year old twins, Will and Emmy Cleary disappear without a trace. Only Will returns 2 weeks later but he returns with a pet falcon and wolf. Lots of children have disappeared with only their stories told in "The Gravestone Book". For 10 years Will's parents are consumed with trying to find the still missing Emmy. Shortly before his 12th birthday Will decides to find Emmy on his own and jumps into the frozen pond. To his surprise he awakens in Echoland.

Upon entering Echoland, Will realized he is in a parallel land when he sees his childhood pets laying before him. Echo's had been inhabiting his pets so they could keep watch over him. Soon be learns that he is a Sound and for every Sound there is an Echo. His adventure continues at a school for castaways where there are many challenges. Crystal balls that have seeing eyes, Fate Sealers following him at every turn, then trying to figure who is friend and who is a foe in this strange land.

Will also made friends and together they not only have to find a way to save Emmy, they have to find the Prince and restore him to the throne, all while staying alive. Pellucid wove an intricate tale that left me wondering what the next challenge would be.

I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. . I did not see any spelling of grammatical errors. There is no vulgarity or adult situations in this book. It was also very well edited. I would highly recommend this book to anyone with a sense of adventure.
