Jihadi Hijacking by Eric Auxier is a wonderful young adult book that follows Bob the super secret spy and his adopted son Justin as they are caught in the middle of a plane hijacking. It will take quick wits on both of their parts to make it out alive, with the help of a new friend and hurdles in the form of new enemies this mission will could be their most difficult one yet.

I rate this book a solid 4 out of 4 Stars and here’s why. This is an amazing book for young adults that I will definitely be recommending to both of my nephews once they are of an appropriate age to read it. There is little to no cussing as well as teaching them important life lessons while still being a funny book that is sure to captivate a teens interest the minute they pick it up. It is also the third in the series and if you haven’t read the others yet I urge you to do so!

I honestly cant think of a single thing that I don’t like about this book and that is saying something! The pace was set perfectly so it gripped you and refused to let you go until you finish reading. Every time the book felt like it was starting to loosen it’s hold a plot twist or a well placed fight scene would pull you right back.

The book goes into detail about the middle eastern people and their religion. I liked seeing the new point of view and learning about their beliefs as well as their way of life. It’s rare to find a book or even an article that so perfectly explains the differences between everyday Islamic people and the terrorists that unfortunately we see all over the news. Again I highly recommend this book to all ages, it’s never too early or too late to learn more about other cultures and the struggles they face. In fact I wish this book was one of the common core for our schools, it teaches kids that different isn’t bad and that you should always try to learn more about other people and their countries.

I am happy to report that there were no grammatical errors that I could find as well as having proper punctuation, making this book a fun and informative read that I believe anyone who has the time should try. The editing team did a great job on this and I will keep an eye out to see if this series goes any further!
