Heartaches is spectacular book that tells a tale about the lives of Anna and Rafael almost from cradle to grave. It explicitly shows us their whole lives, how they overcome the monsters of their pasts and also their futures independently and together to fight for their love. Then, just when they think they can be together, the biggest challenge awaits them.

This book is an exquisite piece written by an individual who is well versed in the command and use of grammar, and as well understands context and content. As H.M. Irwing writes, the characters in this book come to life. You can picture how each character in the book lives their lives continually, like their lives do not pause when the scenes change and the story continues when the characters are back in the spotlight. It’s almost like a movie and not just a novel. Not many writers have this effect on me.

Heartaches is both thrilling and suspense filled, as well as captivating. Just when you think what’s going to happen next is predictable, H.M. Irwing inputs a twist that changes the game. And just when you are beginning to get a hang of it again, she does it again and outdoes herself time and again

This book defies the laws of gravity, as I could not seem to put it down. It was expertly written and edited exceptionally. I enjoyed it because each character had a fine knowledge of themselves independent of each other. It did not seem cliché where the characters would just be soul searching to discover themselves. In Heartaches, they knew their strengths and weaknesses and found a way to merge themselves together, both in becoming more attached or even going their separate ways, like Anna’s mother allowing her to be free. It’s refreshing to see this in a book.

I recommend that this book should be rated 18+ in its description so that its readers are well aware of it contents before delving into it.

I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars because, as earlier stated, for me, each character was beautifully created and represented and the meeting points in their lives was expertly carried out. Also, it’s was exceptionally well edited.

I almost cannot wait to read more books written by H.M Irwing just to see how she delivers her characters.

I can almost promise that you will be entertained throughout this book.

Thanks for the review. The cover art is offputting to me, and I assumed this would be a novel of mindless erotica. I’m glad to hear it is much more than that and that the author is a great storyteller.
