[Following is the official review of "heartahes" by H. M IRWING]
Heartache is a modern day fictional novel that base on the fact of our society today, family vendetta, military chaos, sexual abuse victims on every different level. Experimenting date-rape-drugs, only for the victims to crave more abuse for the dominant abuser. At least that’s what happens to Anna Simmons in this book.
Heartache involved around the character Anna -Walter Simons on her crucial life journey. life take a wrong turn for her when she was only twelve-year-old, she lost her loving father which lead to her mother marrying John Simmons. John Simmons was hard on Anna’s mother Jan Simons, She thought life will be much better when John Simmons was murdered by his own son which made Anna and Jan accomplices. She got mixed up with the Preston’s men and her step brother betrayed her which left her brutally abuse repeatedly for one night.
Secret, betray, lies all piled up in Anna’s life when her mother’s friend introduced her to her cousin Rafe Brown. Rafe has his own dark clouds wavering over him. Only to find out about Anna hidden secrets. Rafe become protective of Anna this two have a Desire of frustration between them despite what Anna has been through she’s still innocent compared to what Rafe went through at the army camp.
H. M IWRING did a beautiful job in writing HEARTACH. The title goes perfectly well with the story being told; The characters were incredible detail. Iwring style of writing define the characters in their weaknesses and bravest time. The written style help me see the characters vividly in my mind’s eye, their pains, happiness and mixed emotions mostly the characters sexual tension.
heartache is full of twist and turn that give you a bittersweet emotion, the steam sexually sense will leave you gasping for air. H. M IWRING capture the hearts of the reader through the character's feelings, it's intriguing, thrilling You will definitely be at the edge of your site eager to turn the next page. What I like the most about this book is that Iwring shade more light on the victims truth . What I really find disturbing about Anna is the longing she had for her abusers that seems very disturbing to me.
I rate it 4 out of 4 stars because that’s how breathe taking the book was for me. and also H. M IWRING pinpoint what is wrong with Justice systems worldwide, when it’s come to rape victims, the Authority almost always find a way to dismissed the case. I categorize heartache as young adult, but don’t let that banner dissuade you from reading it. Unless you’re sensitive to mentions of abuse, I would recommend this book to everyone regardless gender. I wouldn’t hesitate to pick another book by this author.
