I thoroughly enjoyed the book, My Trip To Adele. It is a book I will recommend to couples, single ones, divorced people, children of broken homes and women activists. The book gives an insight to the minds, preferences and likes of the Authors.

The book written by two siblings tells an overall story of life as it is, with its twists and turns. Relative freedom as applicable to Nadia - a divorced single mum. A confusing and overwhelming search for love by Elias at Morocco. He supposedly found love in a teenager who was made to prostitute for a living. A case of unfulfilled dreams and unrealistic expectations of Yaser and Mariam in their marriage and lastly, a unifying factor for all aforementioned characters in the book, Adele.

It is educative, touching cultures and people of different tribes. It also relates to what the readers can identify with. For example, the reference made to "Grey Anatomy". The reader can also identify with Adele herself, a Singer and Songwriter of our time. We also understand the concept of internet dating and the battles and self discovery of oneself as displayed in the case of Malika, the girl Elias fell in love with. It dwelt a bit on magic and belief in the supernatural.

The book is captivating right from the title. The title is intriguing in the sense that Adele is the name of a person while the Title of the book is "My Trip To Adele". Just that will make you feel like knowing what the story is about. Eventually you get to know it is all about marital challenges, finding love, quest for the rightful place of women in the society and the power of edifying songs. A trip to a long awaited concert by Adele helped each of the characters to get answers and solutions to their questions and challenges. For Nadia, it was a planned trip to Adele. She never made it to the concert. Each chapter gets you more curious till the very end.

I am rating the book 4 out of 4 stars for its relevance, simplicity, up to date and honest presentation of challenges we faced sometimes ago, still facing and might face in this journey called life. There were a few grammatical errors but they fade in significance when you consider the content of the book. Kudos to the authors for taking the bold step to publish this great piece by themselves. I have personally benefited and learnt some few things from the book.
