H.M. Irwing’s book, Heartaches 3 – Bad Boy Vibes is the last in the series of a romance story about Rafe and Anna. It has several plots, including that of a drug cartel and a gay couple. Rafe and Anna have been through so much in the past. Anna is haunted by nightmares of the past. Rafe tries to help her confront her fears and move forward. Eric Dayton and Peter Preston, members of the drug cartel are the antagonists in the story. When Rafe goes to confront Eric Dayton, the story comes to a concluding end.

The author provides enough information on the background of the characters. His language is simple and detailed enough. The erotic sexual scenes are well described and the characters are entertaining. This story is an emotional thriller. Anyone reading this book would realize the importance of emotional healing for the proper functioning of a person. The story exposes the harmful effects of toxic emotions. I learnt so much from this book.

The use of BDSM in the story was very revealing. The characters in the book paint a real picture of today’s modern society. What I like most about the book was the gay marriage at the end. I nearly cried. My reason is that everyone has a right to happiness regardless of where they find it. The ability of the author to reflect this in his story was quite refreshing and commendable. I admire H.M. Irwing.

I didn’t like the absence of Suzie at the climax of the story. This was what I liked least. I’m of the opinion that the ending would have been more hilarious if she had been there. Her use of BDSM got me attached to her.

I rate this book 3 out of 4 stars. I didn’t give it a 4 because there were a lot of run-on sentences which did not make complete sense. It also had a lot of typographical errors. I did not give it a 2 because the story was very interesting and entertaining if not for the errors.

This book would appeal most to lovers of romance stories. It would also appeal to rape victims and people fighting low self-esteem. This book would appeal least to people who are biased about same sex marriage. Also, anyone who doesn’t like romance may not want to read this book.

In conclusion, I learnt so much from this book.

I don't like the fact that it had a lot of typographical errors. Your review is laudable. Keep it up.

I agree with you that there's a need for emotional healing especially in relationships. I saw the harmful effects in Rafe and Anna's relationship. Amazing review.

Nice review. I've read and reviewed all the books in this series and this is my favorite book of the three. I really liked Anna's growth throughout the series.

Great review. I too missed Suzie. I think she made the story more interesting.

Hello dear Psamy, I read your review of the book Heartaches 3 by H. M. Irwing. I liked your review but if you don't mind here I felt that the summary in the review is lacking in scope to some extent. You have mentioned strengths and weaknesses of the book in a well manner.

Haven't tried reading the first two books. Anyways, your review gives a hint on what the first two books would like. I might give the first two books a read before I opt for the last installment. Thanks.😃

I am not a fan of this series because of the erotic content. Thanks for your review though. Good job.

I've also reviewed this book, I think it's a cool book but the typos was a big turn off. Thanks for a thorough review.

The characters sound interesting but I have yet to read the first two books in the series! I like the sound of the ending and I agree with your quote:

Thank you for the enjoyable review.
