Overall this was a well-written book for readers that enjoy romance/erotic novels that revolve around a protagonist female character that seems a bit insecure and whether or not she will overcome this emotion. Many obstacles are set in front of Claire, the protagonist female, where she went from being her sister's modeling agent to a model herself, leaving you rooting for their success throughout the chapters of the book. Throughout the book, Claire has to decide whether to continue to put others before herself or finally be selfish and focus on herself. There are also some malicious characters you may grow to despise that she will be up against where one of those individuals is someone she has battled against her entire life.
The mere introduction of the book kept me enticed and excited, leaving me wanting to read more. The author did an excellent job in creating each character of their book and provided great detail to describe the appearance of each of the characters. I also really appreciate one of the male characters that was named Erin; he once was a model turned agent, since he is the embodiment of what most women want in a man, and his personality made him perfect for this romance novel. The length of the book was not too long, but I wouldn’t have minded it being more than 200 pages. I did come across a few errors in the text but there were only two. I loved the overall story of the book but do wish it could have been longer.
The part I liked the least about the book was that the chapters seemed to end too quickly, and there were a few chapters, like around 14 or so for such a short book. The following chapters kind of started off in a different spot in the story from where the previous chapter ended, but any confusion that may have occurred to the abrupt endings from the last chapter was acknowledged in the text.
The author did an exceptional job in ending the story and left no question unanswered.I rate this book 3 out of 4 stars.I gave this book this rating since I found hardly any typos/errors, and it seems that it may have been professionally edited, and I had no problem following along. I did not give this book a rating of 2 out of 4 because the skill and creativity of the author are what I expect from romance novels, and they succeeded in keeping me content throughout the entire book.
Many romance novels have the same general scheme but different names, and the readers that may not like this type of book require more erotic content or something else entirely that cannot be found in this particular genre. The book was tastefully written in my opinion. This book would appeal to young adults and adults who enjoy romance novels and would appeal the least to readers that like faster-paced books or crime stories.
