The synopsis of this book makes you think you are reading about the life of a women called faye and what happens when she realises that the man she loved had died, but, the books is so much more than that and it was a great read!

It centres on the lives of 4 women,Faye, beth,Abbie and Olivia, and tells the story of how they all became friends and the trials and tribulations of their lives.

The book tells of friendship, love and heartache.

I liked the fact that it told of what was happening in the present day of each of their lives but also gives you flashbacks into their lives and things that have happened to them when they was younger that has carved them into the women they are today.

Each woman has different views on life and it's interesting to see how 4 very different women become friends and yet they all learn something from each other along the way.

The book is very well written, very few mistakes and each characters life is told in detail so you get a real sense of who they are. There is a few plot twists aswell which make you want to hurry up and finish the page so you can turn over to find out what happens!

The portrayal of faye and how she deals with love, loss and grief was very well written and I think alot of people would sympathise with the way she behaved.

I found Olivia was very relatable, low self esteem, abit lost and I really found myself rooting for her throughout the book.

I would give the book 3 out of 4 stars

The only reason I didn't give it 4 stars is because it can be abit confusing in places keeping up with each character,I did find myself sometimes having to keep going back alittle bit to catch up and remind myself what women the author was talking about, but I think that's only because there are 4 main characters so it can be easy to get alittle confused, but the author wrote it so well that it wasn't a big problem.

I really enjoyed the book overall,it made me smile, touched my heart and really makes you think about friendship and how important it is.

It also features alittle bonus at the end which was nice to read and find out what was going on in their lives once the book was finished.

I would happily read more from this author and would recommend this book to others.
