The book titled The Legacy of Job’s Wife, written by Cynthia Koelker, is a wonderful fictional story about the Biblical character Job and his wife. The author tries to understand her urge to ask Job to curse God after so many terrible things happen to them in their lives. The book is a wonderful take on the heart warming Christian characters and is also filled with lots of charming romance that made the book very hard to put down.

Overall, I really enjoyed the book. I loved how well the author was able to portray the characters’ story and their love for each other. I especially liked how the author included the story of their love story from their childhood. It helped me to understand more fully the amount of love and care they felt for each other. However, like every love story, it was not without challenges and struggles. Job and his wife experienced lots of hardships throughout their lives, including losing their many children. The book does a wonderful job of pointing to man’s desire to understand the actions of God and the devastating nature that painful events have on faith.

There was honestly nothing that I did not like about the book. I loved the way the author told the story. I did not find any grammatical errors or typos within the book. This is a testament to the exceptional editing that was completed to the book prior to publication.

I would rate this book five out of five stars for the reasons I stated above. This was a wonderful book and I look forward to reading more books written by this author.

I would recommend this book to anyone who likes to read stories based on Biblical characters, Christian values and beliefs, and romance.
