"Love All the Way" by Aurora Carafa is more than just a beautiful love story with an unexpected ending. The action takes place in a period when society didn't easily accept deviations from what was considered the norm. We learn about how gay individuals and women were treated, along with other practices that today seem inconceivable (like smoking and drinking wine while pregnant). And to think that this happened not so long ago.

"Love All the Way" depicts true love: unconditional, selfless, transcending time and social norms. At times, it may feel unreal, but if we look deep into our hearts, we see that this is what we all desire. Most of us may never experience such love, but at least we can live it through the love story of Mel (a beautiful, fearless young woman) and Allen (a gay man who cannot give Mel everything that she deserves, but still finds a way to have a unique and beautiful relationship with her). As the author writes, "Love can be defined in so many ways."

The book is written in an easy-to-read style, and even though I thought I knew what was coming, the author managed to surprise me. Jokes abound, bringing genuine laughter, but I also had some tissues around because there were moments when tears would flow freely. The story flows effortlessly, and I did not want to stop reading.

The book contains sexual content.
A strong message the author conveys is that, regardless of what happens to you or how people treat you, you always have the choice to choose how to respond and stay true to yourself. This is a very beautiful message to take with you and live accordingly.

I enjoyed reading the book "Love All the Way" – it was both entertaining and easy to read. I can truly say that this book was more than I expected. I did read a lot of romance, so I have some idea of what is out there.

I give it 4 stars because of the typing errors.
