Overall, the book follows Charlotte, an older woman with a thriving career and many friends. Her life gets turned upside down when she realizes that she is falling in love with a man who may not be able to provide her with the love she truly desires.

Freefalling is a wonderfully emotional book with so much love and heart put into it. Although the book starts off a little slow, once it picks up, its story is captivating. The main character's struggles are so beautifully described and full of depth and nuance. The life lessons Charlotte learns throughout the book are wonderful guides to the readers, and the author's way of including these lessons in the book is natural and gives readers a deeper understanding of the characters and the world. Furthermore, the descriptive scenery is enthralling and makes one feel as though they're actually there.

On the other hand, the pacing in Freefalling can be confusing at first, and the beginning of the book feels very slow. However, once the ending comes around, all the buildup from the beginning of the book feels entirely worth it. Finally, on the Kindle version, the page numbers are messed up. On Kindle, the book has 5,357 pages and when turning the page, the page number will jump to a seemingly random number. I believe this is a glitch on Kindle's part, and not caused by the author, but it is important to note. Continuing, the book didn't seem to have any spelling mistakes, but because of the pacing, it doesn't seem professionally edited either.

Overall, the book was a captivating emotional experience and I would give it a 3 out of 5 rating. The reason this book does not have a higher rating is simply because the pacing at the beginning of the book was too slow for my taste. Although the 2nd and 3rd acts of the book are enchanting, the 1st act is very slow and it feels as though it drags on. It was hard for me personally to get through the first half but, once the second half begins, the book is truly fun to read with many amazing life lessons.
