This novel opens up to a calm set up in Rome, drawing the reader in, to take a walk on that alley with the two opening characters in the book, Elias and Veronica. The events unfold fast, and that very first page, promises a thrilling read. You can depict a love story untold, a lot of hope to keep the pages turning.

In a first person narration, the book revolves around the lives of three individuals of different nationalities, all battling different storms. One is divorced and seeking her freedom, another in a struggling marriage and another searching for his old love. All characters have one thing in common; love for Adele's music. It gets them through most of their turmoil.

The book is fast paced, yet drawing you in slowly. No sudden twists and turns that would bring the reader so much confusion. The book is set in a modern world, but in cities with so much culture. It transports the reader to Morocco, and the cultural dances; takes you to Las Vegas to the nightlife and class differences; then to Rome and a concert in an arena with so much history; you will want to visit the actual places!
I loved that the book MY TRIP TO ADELE by R.I.ALYASEER and A.I ALYASEER makes reference to why the book title was chosen, in every ending chapter.

The ending surprised me, I obviously expected different outcomes from some of the relationships. Was somewhat disappointed, especially to see some characters labor so much for something, just to lose it.

This novel would suit a wide range of readers, from young adults to middle aged adults. This is because it synchronizes lives of characters from a young age and their choices to when the characters are much older with different perspectives of life. I would give it a 4 out of 5.
