Different people have different love stories. The book Double Redemption by Francis Gene Collins is a story of Mike and Emma. The author has talked about their lives, each one of them and what they have gone through especially in their love life.

Emma had many failures and her love life was not easy. She once met this mechanic guy and got interested in him, but she denied to have fallen in love with him. Mike as well had gone through a difficult life since his childhood. He once went to a new town where he learnt a great deal but was involved in fights but saved by his friend Trigito. He was robbed and beaten and was taken to apartment 2B very sickly. It was in the apartment 2B where Emma went to drop the keys and met him who she came to know as a mechanic. They both planned for a coffee together. From then on Mike would show interest in Emma as a more than a friend.

I have found the book interesting. The author has developed both characters very well from how it all started to how they finally met. It is also unpredictable, which makes the book more interesting as one would be eager to know what happened next and how it all ended. The author used a simple language which I found very easy to comprehend what he means by his writing, although he used a bit of Spanish language of which does not affect the flow of the story even if I do not understand Spanish.

Although the book was very interesting to read, it is way complicated to join the stories of Emma and Mike into one story and get to understand what is going on. I had to give it another read to understand the idea of the author and especially join the story of Emma and that of Mike as one story. It also contains some vulgar words, although enclosed in speech marks.

The book is wonderful so I rate it three out of four stars as it is very interesting to read. It does not have any noticeable typing or grammatical errors. I did not give it four out of four stars because it is a bit complicated to get the idea of the author and a reader might be bored at some point if not careful. The author could have made the stories of Emma and Mike as two separate stories and develop other characters as their lovers although it is just a suggestion as it makes sense his style of writing especially if the reader gets the idea of the story.

I recommend the book to young people. The story of Mike and Emma is so real to what young people are going through in their day to day life, especially in love and relationships. The book is also useful to those who feel that they have gone through a lot and want to give up. The characters in the story went through difficulties and were able to overcome them.
