The Raven’s Trail by Liz D Marx tells you about the love story of Chloe and Mason. Chloe worked at The Smithsonian Institute in Washington DC, the largest museum complex in the world. In her childhood, she used to have realistic dreams about a tribe called Tula. It was not just some dreams. Chloe felt like she was living in those dreams. She had a friend called Lady whom no one else saw. As she grew older, the Lady disappeared and didn’t come back. But her love and passion for the Native Americans didn’t vanish. So she did a PhD in Native American History and got a job at the Smithsonian Institute. One day while working there, she found a stone that shone brightly with her touch. The stone was connected to the Tula tribe of her dreams. The stone lead her to an antic dealer named Mason, and together they jumped to find the story behind the magical stone.

At first, I thought the book is about love and romance, but there is more than that. For example, why did Mason seem so familiar to Chloe? Who was trying to kill them? You need to read the book to find out the answers.

The book is all about fantasy, mystery, crime and most importantly love. That is what I loved about the book. I also loved that the author has left a mystery which has given me more encouragement to read. I like the author has presented Foster’s care for Mason exquisitely. He highlighted the humanity that a wicked person like Pamela has in her heart, which is very nice.

The only thing I didn't like about the book is there is not much information about Pamela. I would love to know about Pamela's past and the reason behind her unkindness.

I am rating this book 3 out of 4 stars. The one star is deducted because of the reason I explained earlier. There were not any sexual scenes. Though there were passionate moments between Mason and Chloe. There were some curse words. So I don't recommend this book to children under 14.

However, I suggest this book to everyone else. I love the historical and spiritual combination. I hope you will like this book too.
