The novel characterized reincarnation in a way to help the audience understand and be relatable to the characters. However, within the first chapter of the book is a little confusing. The storyline is good, just a little unclear in parts, after rereading several times did it become clear. There is also several different cuss words through out the book starting on page 19 with bastard, page 25 sh*t, page 124 f****g, page 174 bitch. The words were used correctly in the sense to not be offensive to the audience. The storyline revolves around a young lady named Amanda who has suffered from a lot of loss in her life. Amanda lost parents and boyfriend who she loved dearly and fears that she will never find someone. However, in the mist of all this Amanda finds out that within a past life she was a girl named Bonnie. After finding out about Bonnie and that she also lost her parents and those around her she loved, the hope for love vanished. But with help from others, Amanda finds a way to be happy and live with unconditional love, which is greatly described in detail to give the audience a sense of understanding. The author tried rot connect Amanda to several other characters in the story, which it created a puzzle for the readers to discover.

The details described about the American Civil War and Chicago Fire were described in great detail to build a picture for the audience. The overall book is about a story, within another story, which is hard to accomplish. Also, when I found out that some of the artifacts are real, it just blew my mind, that is awesome. The reading is comfortable and easy-to-read with the simplicity of the plot and writing. It is purely just amazing and adds a sense of realism. The book beautifully combines real time with a historical part that combines the ideas of reincarnation and what some people have experienced.
