Review of; Heartaches: Bad Boy Vibes by H.M.Irwing

The novel is a steamy one. It is full of sentiments and deep emotions that a lot of readers can relate to.The romance readers are left with little or nothing, so to say, to the imagination as the writer pin points every minute detail in a meticulous manner.

The protagonists Anna Walters-Simmons and Rafael Brown have both gone through the same fate. Both are victims of sexual assault with different perpetrators and in different situations. Anna Walters is gang raped by a whole family of the one she thought loved her,Matt Preston. Rafe Brown is assaulted by his boss,Eric Dayton in the army while in Syria on duty. They both survive by drawing strength from each other as they both say,"Together". They struggle in their path to justice on their own as they know they cannot depend on anyone else.

Contrary to the beliefs of many in most societies, Irwing shows that the gender considered to be the stronger can also be assaulted in one way or another. The pains and challenges the victims of rape go through is pellucidly elaborated. The anguish and feelings of unworthiness together with guilt is narrated. Personally as a female reader l can feel and relate to the tortures of Anna Walters in her struggle to get justice and freedom from the rape incidents.

The story is explicable and the erotic scenes are tackled in a manner that a reader deeply understands. With little left to imagination most of scenes are bound to test the tolerance of the reader. However that is the sole purpose, to serve the wider aim of the narrative. What l liked most about the novel is the writer,Irwing's perfect command in language. To say that the different situations and impeccable choice of words did not turn me on would be beyond an understatement.

Heartaches: Bad Boy Vibes is therefore a perfect novel for any romance fun out there. The writer is a perfectionist who brings out the complex situations in simple terms. I therefore give it 4 out of 4 stars it deserves for it's honest take on difficult issues.

The book is very sensual and erotic and l will hence not recommend it to young readers or anyone with no tolerance to such matters. The victims of rape might also find it too difficult or painful to cope with.

I love erotic novels, this one sounds awesome. Thanks for the great review!

but if I had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate.
To say that the destruction of ice is also great
and will suffice." - Robert Frost
