Two months and three days written by Tatiana Vedenska is a russian translated, encapturing novel. I would rate this novel 3 stars out of 4.

The book opens with a steamy sex scene introducing the handsome billionaire photographer Maxim Korshun. He encounters Arina, a naïve, young girl, pursuing veterinary, at his exhibit in Moscow. Maxim finds her very interesting, meanwhile Arina can't seem to stop thinking about Maxim and his piercing grey eyes (which reminds me of 50 Shades of Grey!).

Arina, unknowingly starts to develop feelings for him but Maxim on the other hand, does not believe in love, rather he only believes in carnal pleasure. So Maxim proposes a contract to Arina whereby she would do as he pleases for two months and three days. She couldn't find the resolve within herself to stay away from him and accepts the contract. Eventually she discovers the unique tastes and unpredictable nature of Maxim which intimidates her. The book end is a cliffhanger where Maxim reveals what he actually wants from her and Arina has to make a choice which will affect both of them.

The novel has striking resemblance to 50 Shades of Grey, from the cold, distant, dominating character of the billionaire interested in BDSM to finding himself being attracted to an innocent virgin much younger than him. I like the plot line but not the writing style. It may be due to the translation, but the sudden change in tenses and shift from the thoughts of Arina to those of Maxim leave the readers confused.

Arina's character should have been developed a little more steadily rather than doing so abruptly. Her thoughts should have been more clear to the readers as she was subjected to such drastic changes and it was difficult to understand what she's really thinking. Maxim's character should have been described better. Taking into consideration that it is only the first book of the series. Along with being portrayed as reserved and cold he was also seen as a little violent which attracts quite less among the female audience.

Apart from these, I found the plotline very interesting. I couldn't stop reading and when I did stop, I was thinking about it most of the time. I liked the way the author linked the character of Arina with that of Snow White in so many ways from innocence and purity to beauty. I liked the way the character of Arina was later developed to be a strong, decisive woman and how she finds her true self by the end of the novel. The sex scenes are quite elaborate and impressive. The plot being set in Russia and other countries gives it a refreshing edge from the other novels. I'm looking forward to read the next part.

This book is for adults, especially those who are inclined towards reading erotica and BDSM.
