The book Health Tips, Myths, and Tricks, originally caught my eye being someone who’s always looking for home remedies and things of that sort. The book goes over various topics from weight to the various contributors to weight loss and gain. As someone who also struggles with internal issues as the rest of the world does, seeing myths and easy ways out plastered about social media can be very tempting. Seeing the reality behind these “remedies” from what I’ve read is truthfully disturbing. Without this source people may follow trends like mentioned in the book Health Tips, Myths, and Tricks. This book is also a reliable source for this information because of the many credible sources cited within the book. The credible data and scientific research that is cited and used in this book is very authentic. One more detail I loved about reading this is the humor and light hearted ness of the author. This in my opinion makes the subject of health a lot easier to take in. Afterall, for many it is a touchy and hard subject. Although I truly enjoyed this reading, what made it hard for me and not an entire four stars is the lengthy and almost drawn out layout of this book. I feel as though the amount of chapter used wasn’t necessary and may make it a little harder to follow along. Overall, I recommend giving this a read. If you’re someone who strives to be healthy, questions society, or even enjoys some scientific research, I highly recommend this book and give it a 3 out of 4.
