The employee millionaire: H.J. Chammas

The employee millionaire starts off by the author’s background. Here, he clearly states where it all started. He portrays the truthful events of his past life before he became an employee millionaire and when he actually decided to be a real estate investor. The plot occurs both in a minor flash back and a major chronological narration where the author tells us his financial journey from the beginning to the end. And he tries to remember the coaching lessons that he received from Papa Joe as his mentor.

H. J. Chammas continues by informing us of his perception regarding being wealthy and being rich. His perspective was later corrected by his wife Joyce warning that he should not measure wealth of individuals by the size of their bank account. Because being rich is far different from being wealthy. For as long as the unearned income does not exceed the monthly expenses that is another story.

I am not hesitant to say that H. J. Chammas did a brilliant work in defining and describing the financial terminologies that appear in this book. I for once don’t know much about economics, commerce, accounting and other related subjects but he did a wonderful job in describing and defining them. If he was my teacher back in high school, I would definitely pass with distinctions. Terminologies like, net worth, total assets, total liabilities, income statements, balance sheet, cash flow and more are among others which were clearly defined.

In as much as The employee millionaire: how to use your daily job to become a millionaire is intended to helping employees to take advantage of their daily job to invest in real estate, the author makes it clear that he cannot force anyone to do anything which they do not want to do. The content covered in this book are mere suggestions for employees who want to change their lives. If we can just look at this quotation, “…partnership with family is up to you…” mentioned J. H. Chammas. This is where he was outlining both the advantages and disadvantages of partnering with family. The final decision is left entirely up to the reader.

It is my pleasure to rate this book a perfect 3 out 4 as I came across only a handful of errors. Otherwise, forgetting those handful errors, the book was intriguing, I enjoyed reading it and my emotions were levelled up a couple of times through the use of emotive language. I recommend this book to anyone who is keen to change their lives, build an empire and create wealth through real estate as it can also be read by various audience of different age groups. I also have no reason to doubt that this book was professionally edited.

It's funny that you mentioned Papa Joe on here. He is in my favorite TV series. This seems like some helpful information most people could use.

I couldn't agree with you more and besides, you are right. The book is filled with useful information for the employees specifically.
