Who Told You That You Were Naked? Is a book written by William Combs.
When God created man on earth and brought him to the Garden of Eden, he gave him one simple rule: do not eat from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. Adam, the first created by God, followed God's rules. It was when God created a companion named Eve that the rule got broken. One day she went out into the garden when she met a serpent who talked her into eating the forbidden fruit. When she came back to Adam full of joy that nothing happened to her, she tried to convince him as well to eat the forbidden fruit. After eating the forbidden fruit the both started to feel naked, they started to see good and evil. When this rule was broken by Adam's companion, sin came into this world. This book looks back to how sin changed our lives and shows us situations where sin is described in the bible.

The writer tries to give a better understanding of how to interpret the book of Genesis by quoting and explaining several verses. By also adding study questions for discussion he tries to get the reader more involved by letting them to do their own research about the topic. It explains situations from several biblical figures. From Adam and his 2 sons to Jesus and his disciples. It explains how each of them had to deal with sin and it gives a better explanation on how to interpret God's words. The writer tries to explain in his own words what true faith means and how we can as well hear God's word through true faith. It gives several examples from the bible of people who had true faith and those who didn't.

Dr. Comb is a retired Presbyterian minister, married for 48 years, and has a Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees from Fuller Theological Seminary. He is more than qualified to tackle the questions raised in the book of Genesis. His writing style keeps reading interesting as he switches from heavy to some more easier material quite regularly. The writer shows true faith in God and thought clearly about every topic he explained.

The editing was done professionally by Bob Irvin and I have found no grammatically and typographical error whatsoever. The book is easy to read and is well designed. The writer not only includes verses from the bible but also includes personal experiences. He gives us an insight in his journey to finding God and also shows us examples of how God helped him and his wife during his life.

I give this book a 4 out of 4 stars. The writer has done a great job and did enough research to support every topic tackled. He gave us a great insight in how to interpret the book of Genesis. I would recommend this book to those who wish to get a better understanding of the book of Genesis and those who wish to learn more about Christianity.
