It is no thought that sin is a major devastating problem in our society today that every goodwill government and social organization struggles to provide a way out. This book Who Told You that You are naked? by William E. Combs has revealed the answer to true redemption to humanity.

The author took us back to the origin of human relationship in the garden of Eden. William E. Combs is a retired Presbyterian minister, Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees from Fuller Theological Seminary. He uses his wealth of experience in Christian ministry to bring the light of reexamine the way sin came into the world through Adam and how God has redeemed the world by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.

The book is structured very well in ten chapters, each chapter has a main topic and subtopics. At the end of each chapter there are study questions for discussion. Some of the topics I found most interesting are "Innocent in the Garden", "Sin Crunching at Your Door" and "The Relationship of Faith".

The aim of the book is to rediscover God's redemption solution through faith in Jesus Christ. I like the way Mr William E. Combs uses stories to give a picture of the events in the book. I also love that he gave real life testimonies of himself, his late wife and other people as practical examples to the book's message of faith and salvation.

Mr William does an extremely good job in condensing a vast field of study in theology into simple understandable topics. I found the use of scriptural quotations and quotations from other scholars (books and publications)
to show professionality and authentication of information.

The only downfall I noticed in this book is that the author did not explain comprehensively to the readers the actionable steps on how to follow Jesus Christ. Maybe he assumes that all his audience are of the Christian faith who already know. I will love to see the author clearly explain the process on how a reader can follow Jesus Christ and have a personal relationship with him. The author only suggest that it is faith that is required to follow Jesus Christ, however, faith is in itself a process to be manifest through action.

This is one of the best-edited book I have ever read. I will recommend this book to all the Christian faith audience and to anyone who desire total freedom from the bondage of sin and death. I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars for it is professionally written with empathy. Reading this book has blessed me so much, I encourage everyone to read it as well.
