William E. Combs's book "Who told you that you were naked?" recapitulates the story of Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden and how they brought sin and death into the world through disobedience. This book views nakedness not only as just taking off clothes but also as committing a sin. The book also digs deep to show how nakedness is viewed throughout the bible. Another observation is changing clothes in front of a baby or animal. According to the book, Adam and Eve ran to hide themselves from God's presence when God came to visit them because they were ashamed of standing naked before the Lord and not because of their disobedience.

The book "Who told you that you were naked?" comprises of ten chapters. It is easy for someone who is not familiar with the bible or story of Adam and Eve to read and understand as each chapter ends with "Discussion questions". These discussion questions help in summarizing the content of the chapter and give the reader a wider understanding of the chapter. These end of chapter questions can equally help bible students, book clubs and others to have a wider understanding of each chapter.

Mr Combs speaks about faith. According to him, 'Anxiety', 'Frustration' and 'Worry' are signals of little faith. He uses the book of Matthew chapter six, phase twenty five through thirty to cite an example from the birds which neither plant seeds nor gather a harvest and put it in barns but our heavenly father feeds and also takes care of them. The author has made me to understand that faith without work is not a real faith. He mentions some examples of real faith as in the case of a leper who was cured of his disease and a centurion's servant who was also healed by Jesus Christ.

Overall, I would rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. My reason for rating this book 4 out of 4 stars is that it is professionally edited and without noticeable grammatical or other errors. The use of personal instances and stories to demonstrate what he(Combs) says, the bible quotations brought in to affirm his points and the discussion questions at the end of each chapter so as to help the readers are other reasons that make me to give the book this rating.

I would personally recommend this book to my fellow Christians and anyone who desires a strong faith in God to read. This book truly gives one the ability to build strong faith in God. I would always urge anyone who claims he or she is over righteous and doesn't have anything to do with salvation to read the book "Who told you that you were naked?".
