We all want to be the best version of ourselves. Virtues of Divinity: Awaken the SuperSoul by Felicia Crawford helps readers do just that by awakening their SuperSoul. The SuperSoul is the best version of us. SuperSouls live a life of meaning and fulfillment. By practicing the 44 Virtues of Divinity, they can overcome challenges, heal from past trauma, and unlock their full potential.

The first few chapters of the book are devoted to explaining the concept of the SuperSoul. The remainder of the book is devoted to detailing the 44 Virtues of Divinity. The Virtues of Divinity are a SuperSoul’s code of conduct. Some examples of the virtues are: Acceptance, Compassion, Forgiveness, Mindfulness, and Respect.

I liked how positive and encouraging the book was. Self-examination and reflection are an important part of the process when trying to awaken your SuperSoul. This isn’t always a pleasant experience. However, I never felt like I was being scolded or shamed for not being perfect. Instead, the focus was always on how much better life is when we embody the virtues. The author wrote with an encouraging and excited voice that made me want to do and be better.

I would give this book a rating of 4 out of 5 stars. I think the author did a great job of explaining what the different virtues are and the benefits that come from embracing them. However, I wish Crawford had gone into more detail on how to apply the virtues. I felt inspired to practice the virtues, but wasn’t entirely sure how to go about this. Most of the discussion was very general. I think giving some specific examples or exercises would have made this book even better. The book could have also used another round of editing.

I would recommend this book to readers who enjoy books about self-discovery and improvement. This book does contain some references to God or a higher power. However, I don’t think you need to be of any specific religion to benefit from this book. Even those who don’t believe in a higher power should still find this book enjoyable.

I am happy to see that some of the virtues discussed in the book are acceptance, compassion, forgiveness, and respect. These are some of the virtues that will help a person to only live peacefully with others, but to also love them. The emphasis on self-examination is also amazing. Thanks for the review, @Maggie Johnson 2.
