The Spirituality Puzzle by James Rondinone and Renee Rondinone is an in-depth and thorough examination of the Bible. This book starts by talking about the different eras of the Bible and how they maintained relationships and fellowship with God. This book describes our relationship with God in a way that I have not seen before. The authors broke down what it meant to have a relationship and fellowship with God. In this book, we see that by repenting of one’s sins and believing, an unbeliever can have a relationship with Christ. The author then went on to deeply explain what happens after an unbeliever starts believing and repents. To find out, get a copy of this book.

I like that this book addresses a lot of controversial questions from the Bible. I always used to wonder how some people in the Bible had a relationship with God. I could not just understand how God could still use them despite their actions. This book helped clear my confusion. I would have loved to share the answer, but I would be giving a lot of spoilers. As someone who has been to a Bible school, I know for a fact that a lot of work was put into writing this book. The research, analysis, and references all made it more interesting to read. In fact, I saw the Bible from an angle that I had never seen. One misconception that was addressed in this book was whether water baptism was necessary for salvation. This part stood out to me because I strongly agree with the author’s answer. This book was exceptionally edited and void of errors.

The only downside of this book was the content page. “Salvation by Repentance and Belief?” was repeated about 9 times without the subtitles. This made it hard for me to track my reading, as I was confused about the particular one I was reading. However, this does not affect the overall content of this book, so I give it a strong rating of 5 out of 5 stars. I highly recommend this book to Bible scholars and clergy. It will help improve their knowledge of the Bible.
