"Prioritize Us" by Nick Brancato is a book that every married couple (and those planning to get married) can use to help their relationship blossom. In this book, the author teaches couples how to use their differences as tools to make their relationships stronger. The author introduces a formula called the "Total Difference Score" (TDS). This formula helps couples practically know how similar or different they are on certain relationship parameters. What are the parameters to calculate the TDS? How do you calculate the TDS? What do you do with the result of the TDS? The answers are contained in this book.

Before now, I have known about the compatibility test for relationships. I even used the test to discover that my ex-girlfriend and I were incompatible. While the compatibility test tells you whether to stay in a relationship or quit the relationship, the TDS shows you how much work needs to be done to make your relationship enjoyable. I wish I had this book when my last relationship was going through challenges; maybe my ex-girlfriend and I would have still been together.

The amazing thing about this book is how detailed and self-explanatory the author made the book. The process of calculating the TDS is not difficult at all. It's a simple calculation that anyone with a basic understanding of simple arithmetic can do. I use this analogy to emphasize the simplicity of calculating the TDS. However, couples will need to be honest about how they score in the given parameters. This honesty will help in the accuracy and application of the results of the TDS.

Another thing I liked about the book was the real-life examples the author used to explain the result and implementation of the TDS. The real-life examples could help readers identify with the people who already applied this strategy, which would make implementation easier.

The only issue I had was that the book sounded repetitive at times. As much as I appreciate emphasizing certain points for better assimilation, it becomes tiring when the points are overly repeated. However, this isn't enough to deduct from the book's rating. Therefore, I rate it a five out of five. I recommend the book to anyone who desires to make their relationship work, especially married couples.
