I thought it would only explain cat behavior, but this book goes further. It’s short and easy to read, yet packed with helpful advice. Overall, a great read if you want to learn how to take good care of a cat.

It starts with the symbolism of cats in different cultures and time periods, then dives into the meaning of common cat behaviors and how to respond to them. Finally, it covers the basics of cat care: different types of litter, how to play with your cat throughout its life, basic grooming skills, important details to keep in mind about your cat’s food, how to adapt your home for your cat, and tips for traveling or moving with your cat.

Though it can be a little repetitive at times, it's still a solid book for learning the basics. If you want to improve your cat care and aren’t sure where to start, this book can definitely be a good first step. It also provides a few trustworthy resources at the beginning.

What you won’t find in this book are detailed explanations of very specific or unusual behaviors, or a comparison of different types of cat carriers, for example. The same goes for food: it offers some useful tips and mentions that you can prepare your own cat food, but it doesn’t provide any recipes.

The only reason I gave this book a 3 out of 4 is because I feel the title doesn’t perfectly reflect the majority of the content. While it's a helpful book, I’d say it's more of an ultimate guide to cat care.
I also found it a bit odd that there's a QR code to rate the book in the middle of it. It’s not a big deal, but I thought it would make more sense to place it at the end.
