Do you love acquiring a deep understanding of a concept? I am that person who would dig information to the roots to gain insights into a topic. So when I came across Who Told You That You Were Naked by William E. Combs, I was really excited. The title is explained more on the cover by the statement '' A Refreshing Reexamination of the Garden of Eden ''. What message was William trying to give us in this book?

The story starts with the author's background story in Alaska. It's more of a testimony, and the alternations with the explanations of Bible scripts are the structure of the entire book. This book explains the aspect of nakedness as depicted in Genesis. It reveals God's intentions towards mankind and the reactions of humans in the state of His authority. William enlightens us about the causes of sin and how we feel naked when our sins are revealed.

This is one of the books I didn't know I was looking for. The awareness of the source of nakedness is vital for our reaction to it. I feel like the author has covered the most important yet misunderstood concepts in the Bible. I have now understood about faith on another level. The definition of little faith is what most of us hold on to. We believe God can perform miracles based on what we want instead of what He wills. That means we have little faith regarding God's knowledge of what we need and therefore His will won't be done.

I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. To be honest, I have no previous scrutiny of the bible but the opinions in the book make a lot of sense. The author goes deep in explaining and educating about faith, sin, and salvation which are really important for any believer. This understanding is what enables us to choose the ways we can be closer to God. Awareness is what brings change and change brings transformation to a better being. The testimonies were fun to read and relatable to our daily lives.

In spite of its informative qualities, the book was well written with no spellings or grammatical errors. Anyone with an interest in knowing the Bible better will exceedingly enjoy the book. You may be one of those who doesn't know about the Bible but is interested to know the ways of the lord. You will not only be informed but also entertained. This was a great read.
