The Warrior’s Meditation by Richard L. Haight is an excellent self-help book. It combines the Japanese therapy art of sotai-ho with martial arts. The author teaches us how to depend on ourselves in a dangerous situation. Richard shares how to cultivate mental, physical, and emotional well-being. There are also techniques to decrease anxiety, depression, and stress.

It is important to deal with our fears, and this book teaches us how. The book teaches how to properly focus on breathing at a set time. The author also talks about meditation using our eyes and the process behind it. Other topics are improving brain volume, having positive emotions, and self-control. Richard talks about questions that we need to ask ourselves. If you want to know about it and other meditating techniques, read The Warrior’s Meditation and find out.

Richard is also a qualified martial, meditation, and healing arts instructor. The author shared his life lessons with the readers. It was motivational and inspiring to me. A profound statement in this book caught my attention. It goes, “Now you must discover a way of meditation that puts you into an instant, calm clarity, from which you can move properly, without thought, under extreme martial pressure.”

The author expressed his thoughts very well. I am interested to read more of Richard's books. We can learn many lessons on maintaining our mental, physical, and emotional energy. The readers can learn how to handle every situation they face. The meditation methods were very useful to me. It was simple and easy to understand. There is nothing to dislike in this book. I enjoyed reading it from the first to the last.

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. It deserves a full rating, as the book was worth it. There was no profanity. The editing was top-notch. I didn’t find a single error in this book. I recommend The Warrior’s Meditation to everyone. Every reader will find something useful in this book. It can help people in facing problems and overcoming weaknesses. Readers can take notes from this book. It will also be a wonderful gift.
