Who told you that you were naked?
This is a special book that focuses mainly on sin and its consequences. Moreover, it begins will explaining the origin of sin right after Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit of the tree of knowledge. The sin they committed resulted into various punishments whereby the serpent was cursed o walk on its belly and eat dust for the rest of its life. Consequently, the woman was to experience pain during childbirth while the man was to toil and moil to get anything from the earth.
Additionally, the sin alienated the human beings from God both physically and spiritually. For instance, they used to meet with God and survey the land, a luxury they could never enjoy. Moreover, after sinning, God told them that His spirit could not be with them always. However, this does not mean that God had abandoned them forever. To wash away the sins, God gave His only begotten son to die and bridge the gap that was left by the sin. However, God does not force people to believe in His son but it’s a choice one has to make.
Despite the fact that men caused alienation from direct contact with God, He did not give up on them. God still provides for the human beings as well as fulfilling their desires once the time is right. Moreover, the writer uses life experiences to explain how God still speaks to the people. God provides His people with sufficient grace to carry out their daily activities and overcome temptations.
The book is awesome because all the explanation of the events is backed up by various verses from the bible hence recommended for all age groups. Moreover, the language is simple and easy to understand. Consequently, the author uses events that assist the readers to build pictures in their brains for deeper understanding of the information. In addition, the sentences are well spaced thus not boring to the reader. Also, the size of the letters is large enough to avoid straining while reading making the exercise more enjoyable.
The book can be of a better preference to the adults and adolescents because it is more of texts and requires more attention. On the other hand, it could not be quite a good choice for young children because it does not have pictures to keep their attention on track. Additionally, it can be cumbersome for them due to the many pages.
Rate this book 4 out of 4 because it is simply awesome. It does not have typing errors and it is easy to understand.
