The Unfakeable Code by Tony Jeton Selimi is enjoyable, relatable, and fantastic. There are some moments wherein the book is dull; however, the numerous mini-stories compensate for it. I rate the book 4 out of 5 stars because almost all chapters are difficult to digest and apply in real-life situations. One of the principles the author discusses is about disarming emotions. It explores the different ways our emotions can sabotage the opportunities we create. As a person easily overcome by emotions, I had to pause and take a break. It sent me into a spiral; that section of the book made me think of all the times when I lost my temper, and naturally, the consequences followed. I lost my friends and earned people's resentment. I was not expecting this book to resonate with me on such a personal level. I had to put the book down for a while before I could continue reading. The break in reading also served as practice because I could apply the lessons in the previous sections of the book.

One of the many things I love about the book is that it includes little activities such as writing down key takeaways and reflections. It opened a way for me to immerse myself in the concepts to know more about myself and what parts of me need improvement. The writing strategy helps with this. It starts with a general idea and gradually becomes specific. It is also helpful that the stories in the book serve as examples and inspirations for those who experience similar situations. All in all, the book is written beautifully.

The main lesson I learned in the book is to think critically and objectively. Words cannot describe how much the book has helped me change how I look at life and the challenges life brings. I recommend this book if a person is looking to improve their life in different aspects and is attempting to look for their true self. I believe that the book will also serve as an inspiration for many people, just like it has been for me. Perhaps the next person who will read this book will have a different lesson that they have learned and share it with people who are dear to them.
