“Running Prophecy” by Curtis A. Routley is an amazing visionary book that contains passages from the Bible that connect world events with biblical prophecies. The book comprises Ezekiel's prophecies, which are significant in Jewish tradition for their detailed visions, symbolic actions, and messages concerning the restoration of Israel and the coming of a new temple.

The plot of the book starts very engagingly when the heathen ruler, Nebuchadnezzar, receives a dream from God and is very disturbed by the dream and tries to seek its interpretation from wise men who failed to do so. However, only Daniel, upon praying to God, was given a dream and its meaning in a vision related to the King’s dream at night, which he explained to the King. After that, the book deals with all the visions, meanings, and prophecies related to it as discussed in the biblical scriptures.

The book mentions a biblical prophecy and connects it to future conflict in the Middle East, with the idea that Lebanon's future is tied to these events. Similarly, other predictions like the destruction of the Temple, the Diaspora, the rebirth of Israel, persecution of the church, the Second Coming of Christ, and final judgment are also discussed in the book, which is an eye-opener for the readers. If you want to probe into all these prophecies, you must give this book a deep reading. I truly believe there is so much to learn from this book.

The book is very versatile and comprehensive as it contains quotations, passages, and references from books of the Bible, including the Old and New Testaments of it (Daniel, Ezekiel, Deuteronomy, Joel, Revelation, 2 Samuel, Genesis, Exodus, Zechariah, and many others). This clearly shows the depth and command of the book.

There is nothing I dislike about the book. However, I believe that it could have been made easier to understand by the use of simple language. Therefore, I strongly suggest the readers read it twice for better understanding.

The best thing I like about the book is that there is meticulous illustration with the help of diagrams, maps, and charts to give pictorial form to the visions and prophecies mentioned in the book, which makes the book fascinating, understandable, and increases readability. As a result, I developed a photographic memory of what has been prophesized in the book.

There are many errors in the book; it is not perfectly edited. Although the book has been developed exceptionally well considering the complexity of its theme, it is not an easy book to develop; the author has given great justification to the theme of the book; however, due to the significant number of errors, I would give it 4 out of 5 stars. I highly recommend this book to anyone who would like to experience a different dimension of an existing reality through the lens of Biblical scriptures.

I have always liked prophecy even though I don’t really understand it. It doesn’t seem, though, that this would enhance my understanding with all of the large words. The many errors don’t make this book seem to be a very good read either. Thanks!

It will be interesting to read about the prophesies discussed in the story. I would like to know how they relate to Lebanon's and Israel's present situation and future. I am sure that the interpretations are quite controversial. I believe it is always good to read about all sides of a story when there is political strife. Thank you for reviewing this book. I'm uncertain if this book will hold my attention, but for those intrigued by prophecies and their connection to current events, it's a must-read! Once again, a thorough and comprehensive review.
