[Following is a volunteer review of "Who Told You That You Were Naked?" by William Combs.]

[rbc=4]id138572-125[/rbc]Who told you that you were Naked? A refreshing reexamination of the garden of the garden of Eden; its a non fiction, Christian book by William E. Combs. This is a 242-page book published by Carpenter's son publishing. This book contains ten chapters, each chapter ends with studying questions for the reader to evaluate his or her self; scriptures, personal testimonies are also seen in the book.

This book gives an interesting, in-depth look at Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden. I pet like how the author told The story of Adam and Eve and brought out points that made things clearer. And the part he wrote about "little faith" and "real faith". I never knew the difference between the two but the author gave me a take home package not only did I know the differences but learned more about faith, this book is an eye opener trust me. The author goes further to discuss about "sinners" and "good people ", he used the scriptures (pointing out other people in the Bible that went against God), personal experience to buttress his point.

Another point that made me reflect about my life is when he asked "when we sin do we feel naked?". One can be physically clothed but spiritually naked. The author's use of thought provoking study questions helps the reader to reflect and delve deeper. Additionally, the author includes his testimonies on how he first came to know God. These testimonies are really encouraging and motivating that salvation is available to everyone who would want God to take charge of their lives.

The author did a terrific job in showing the correlation between the Old Testament and the New Testament I.e.faith. Faith that we are saved by the grace of the Lord to reconcile us Tina relationship with Him through Jesus Christ. The first step towards reconciliation with Christ is to be born again not in the physical but in spirit. Asking God to take charge and take your body as his temple

Sin is defined as exaltation of self. The message explores some of the ramifications of our fallen condition pointing to the sole cure for sin. I strongly recommend this book to New Christians, to those who would like to know the basic principles of Christianity or what it takes to be a Christian. I also recommend this book for Bible study groups because it gives a better and clearer understanding of the stories in the Bible. I rate this book 4 out of 4
